Once again it’s another episode of Retro House Mixtape all poised and ready to drop those weekend vibes into your earholes. This week it starts on a vocal-led U.S. Garage vibe before shifting up a gear into some stomping disco bangers. Over the last few weeks I’ve made some excellent re-discoveries of some long forgotten tracks and a couple of them feature here. There is the disco-breakbeat stylings of DJ Tonka who is remixing ‘Give It Up’ by K-Klass. Plus the house music legends Pete Heller and Terry Farley appear in their ‘Roach Motel’ guise to drop ‘Wild Luv’, a UK take on the New York house style from the early 90’s.
