“Rhythm is a Mystery” and choice cuts of house music make up this episode of Retro House Mixtape.
I don’t know if you know this… but it has been a bit hot lately. Like, REALLY hot. So hot in fact that I almost couldn’t get this episode recorded. The “studio” where I record these episodes was clocking in at 32 degrees C everyday. There was no way I was going to be able to record a set in that heat. Fortunately I managed to hold on for a cooler window and get this mixtape down. And I’m glad I did because this episode is a STORMER! Some absolutely sublime blends are happening throughout this mix. Things start at the deeper end of house for most of the first half of the mix and then we transition into some more well known tunes towards the end.
