Frankie Knuckles once said that House Music was Disco’s Revenge. That statement was the basis for this week’s episode. I wanted to record an episode that runs at a slightly lower tempo and works as a warmup mixtape. A set that would fit perfectly for that late afternoon/early evening slot on a sunny day. This episode starts with an old Royksopp/Incognito bootleg that I made in the early 2000’s (I really should make an updated version) before swerving into a full on disco re-edit session. There are some irresistibly funky jams going on in this episode from big players such as Chic, Fatback Band, Chaka Khan and even Queen!!

It really is Disco’s Revenge! I really enjoyed putting this one together. Hope you like it too.
